Located in the historic town of Julian, California, Patrick Engineering and Surveying takes pride in its own historical legacy. Patrick L. Brown is a third generation land surveyor and the first in his family to also become a licensed civil engineer. His son Curtis has followed in his father’s footsteps. Patrick’s grandfather, Royal Brown, was a member of the survey team which surveyed the US/Mexican border circa 1908. Patrick’s father, Curtis, surveyed throughout San Diego County on his way to holding positions of prominence with the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping. He co-authored books on surveying and survey law, and was recognized nationally and internationally.
